9-0 v**e, 100% agree.
I offer for consideration by all, this Supreme Court decision just demonstrated definitional judicial "activism," which I can only hope we all think is a bad idea.
What do I see as activism?
The SINGULAR question at contest was can a state disqualify a candidate from a Federal e******n b****t. Nothing more.
The Court got this one right, 9-0.
The Court's decision continued on, after deciding on the singular issue, to add that the ONLY way to disqualify a federal candidate was through legislation passed by both Houses and signed by the president, eliminating Federal Courts from any decision-making process.
Can anyone here agree that this was indeed judicial activism?
If you get a chance, read Amy Coney Barrett's (certainly no leftie) decision comment.
H**e is not part of my world.
Tight lines,
Stephen

Bcmech1,
I am no Democrat; though certainly a left-leaner.
As I presume we may have different sources of information inputs, may I offer you what I see as "accomplished?"
1. He signed a $1 trillion infrastructure bill to repair our roads, waterways, bridges and railroads, and bring high-speed internet to rural communities. Also included is money for public t***sit and airports, electric vehicles and low emission public t***sportation, power infrastructure, and clean water. Shoot, we used to pass bipartisan infrastructure bills each and ever 2-years. To my recall, during the period of 2017-2021, we had "infrastructure week" each and every week for 4-years with ZERO passed into law.
2. He signed a bill to help veterans who have long been suffering from the effects of burn pits. This was fully ignored by my former President.
3. Biden signed the CHIPS and Science Act, providing funding to produce semiconductor chips for automobiles, cellphones, laptops, gaming consoles, washing machines, etc. here in the Unites States rather than continuing to rely on China. I may have missed it during my most recent former President's tenure; but did that administration bring manufacturing back to the US?
4. He signed the Inflation Reduction Act, making health insurance plans more affordable, lowering drug costs, preventing millions of Americans from losing their Affordable Care Act insurance, and requiring Medicare to negotiate the cost of 10 high-cost prescription drugs.
5. He brought the unemployment rate down to a low of 3.5%, matching the lowest rate before the p******c. It has now climbed a bit to 3.8%, but this compares very favorably to the rates of other countries throughout the world.
Enough for now as I have rambled a bit.
What do ya think?
Been a pretty good 3-years.
I propose for your consideration that your inputs may intentionally present liberals as only Trump bashers. I am certainly liberal and one who speaks to "accomplishments." It is what we do.
Tight lines,
Stephen

I agree with you. Can't stay on this train that we are currently on much longer. We are going to be experiencing negative experiences for years to come due to the immigration issues we are experiencing now.
As well as the support JB is providing to China, Russia and Ukraine at the cost of US taxpayers!!!

hueey,
I just gotta ask what support do you see JB "is providing to China, Russia...?"
Please educate me.

He also said (multiple times) for three years, that “the border is secure”. Do you believe that, too?

That all means nothing when you have open our borders to millions of people and we have no idea who they are. The man is senile and most of his people look like they came from the " Land of Misfit Toys ". He has turn our country into the laughing stock of the world. Ask a young family with a couple of kids, house payment, car payment etc. if they are better off today or four years ago. Don't take my word for it, half or more of America feels the same way.

If I remember it correctly, in 2020, 7-million more folks v**ed for our current President.
Therefore, I suggest you might more accurately re-state it as "...half or LESS..."

Not sure if I understand the WANDA factor; but if I could guess, a jury recently made her a multi-millionaire.
Law & order. I remember that.
Who's WANDA?
Best regards,
Stephen

Mr. Hartford,
I could be wrong; but I think you may refer to the mom and daughter e******n workers in Georgia (Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss).
If so, they were recently awarded over 32-million dollars in a defamation law suit against Mayor Giuliani, prompting his bankruptcy submittal.
However imperfect our justice system may be, I see this verdict as a demonstration of law and order.
Bottom line to me in reference to your "...videos stuffing armloads of b****ts...," it has been adjudicated as false. Yup, not true.
This represent only what I think I know.
Best to you and yours,
Stephen

Wanda was right here in Bridgeport CT Randy. Unfortunately, that was in a democratic mayoral primary, last fall, not in the p**********l e******n.
