I just looked Randy, and that's the only color on sale at that price. I will be keeping my eyes open for more sales. HoHoHo.

Yes; that was the only color on sale. That’s why I specified the color on my post. She didn’t see any others on sale.
How much different is the green pumpkin from the green pumpkin flake? Do you know if the “flakes” are red?

43° when I got to the lake. You can only fish the East shore, and unfortunately it's in the shade of the mountains till around 11am. It definitely felt colder especially with the North wind blowing down the lake. Missed 2 decent bites due to the wind bowing the line, one on a Dinger and one on a Paca Craw on a Shaky head. Took a break to wait for the sun to hit the shoreline. Lost a good fish on a June Bug Dinger, then switched to a Green Pumpkin. Finally set the hook in a decent fish. 2lb 6oz. After that the wind shifted again, from the west, and was blowing straight in my face so I called it. I never realized that they lowered the lake this much in the winter. The bank where the treeline starts is the normal high waterline.

I don't know Randy, I use Watermelon green, with Red Flake. It's more translucent than Green Pumpkin, but I do use straight Green Pumpkin also. I think the flake might be Purple on the Green Pumpkin, but I'm not positive.

That’s a good bass Fred, Gregg and I were out this afternoon and only managed 3 fish between us. 2 snot rockets and a crappie, wind here today wasn’t a factor on a particularly beautiful afternoon so don’t have any excuses other than that it was an off day for the bite.

Thanks Brad. At least you didn't get skunked. Pickerel are fun to catch , I just wish they would jump off at the boat.

Sounds like a very challenging day to be out, but you stayed the course and brought a nice one up for the camera! At this time of season there are'nt many days like this left...so I'm glad that you were able to get out again and enjoy the sunshine...and tolerate the wind!

Thanks Yaker. Yeah I think the boat's done for the year, maybe a couple more bank trips is about all that's left.

I’ve seen them in purple flake and red flake, but the picture doesn’t really show the flakes. It does say “blend”, but I have no idea what that means… I guess I’ll find out on Tuesday. With the Amazon Prime, we get free returns, so I can send them back if they look too bad. 🫣🤞

They don't always use the correct pictures either Randy. Check it out when you get them.

Yep; I will. Cabela’s had a bad mistake in their
Black Friday sale flyer on a large tackle bag with 12-3700 boxes, advertised for “starting at $29.88. Reg price starting at $44.99”
SAVE 30%. First of all, their math is wrong; plus the item pictured was not even the one on sale! You can’t even buy 12 of those BPS
3700 series boxes for that price, on sale WITHOUT the bag! Oops! 🧐🙄

I've seen the same type of mistakes in other sale fliers as well. 2different models on sale but the pictures are identical. Marketing people, not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Nice fish Fred, at least it is not black&white. Surprised you folks have not had snow yet.
