As usual , the thoughtless ruin it for everyone else. (I'm biting my tongue here, I've got better names for them). If you like canoeing, then go for it. Good luck my friend.

Fred I had a 14' Coleman. It was wide n stable for a canoe. It only went around 90lbs. I could have smacked the crap out of my sil for selling it. Only gave to him n Michelle to use in creek nx to their house. I've always wanted another but I liked pond boat ez setup for t-motor. I told Bug I'm buying another canoe going back there n some small creeks around. I can find a nice canoe cheaper than a yak. Plus I'm more comfortable in a canoe. Got home got a bite to eat put stuff away n me Bug n Chylo took off. We was gone for around 3hrs. Got me back on track. Three states numerous towns n back roads. Fun ride brother. I put another reel on the Berkeley. This one works well. Now I have to order guides for my 8' modified ultra lite 😁

Sorry griz…i know how long you’ve been waiting to get out….

Thanks Danger. I wanted to go a couple days after I saw it. Just couldn't get there. Got new tires on ole gray Wed n told Bug nice weather Fri I'm going fishing. Messed around for hrs trying to form a plan. I was so dumbfounded when I saw what they did. My worry was the road would be under water. Pond n road at same level at that point. Figured if it was bad I'd fish the one with the messed up ramp. I've fished there before. Got there it was closed off. I don't know what they are doing brother. Have a nice evening. πŸ‘πŸ‘

I bought mine used several yrs ago for$300. Everyone was selling them buying yaks. I looked it up one time n if I remember it was between 135/150. I've had 2 batteries 2 tackle bags ice chest n 6 rods in it n had no problem. It is very stable. Plus since it's all plastic it won't sink. It can be full of water but won't sink. .πŸ‘πŸ‘ I think Bass Pro is the pond prowler. Basically the same thing. I never see them for sale anymore.

A guy I used to work with had a square back Coleman, a Scanoe, I think it's called. He ran a 6hp Johnson on it. It was a cool boat.

If I can find a sq back that's what I'll get. I fished with a guy that had a 17' Grumman sq wit 3hp n outriggers. We had it on the river in some high water. No problem standing to fish. I'd get one of the hitch extenders when I get a canoe. I'll find a place to hang canoe out of the way πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I sure can. I may be a Patriots fan, but I'm a Yankees fan as well.

Gmon fellows. My well plan trip to the lilly pond didn't go as planned. I spent time thinking what I needed to take. Use to taking plenty. Even went to W-mart n sportsman warehouse looking for something Eyecrosser recommend. Neither had it. Before leaving I reduced inventory even more. Drove almost 1hr some dense fog. Got to the state park that pond was in. Also another pond there that's been loosening water n gravel ramp in bad shape. I thought if road to lilly pond was underwater I fish other pond. Got to ramp pond entrance closed. I crossed towpath bridge down the hill around the turn to find since my last trip things changed. The park service had no parking signs everywhere. Knee high rocks blocked only open space I could have unloaded. Water was up you could barely see the lilly pads. To say I was disappointed would be n understatement. Since my former dil sold my canoe I'll be buying another. I'm fishy that pond. Hope the no fishing signs are up there. Sorry guys only pics I have are these. Fred I was ready to try topwater with my Berkeley. Also wanted to try the black max n the speed stick. Even had new coopers on my old girl πŸ˜•πŸ˜•
