This was way back in the '80s, so
not too sure of the name - it was
down in the Kingston/Plaistow
area, about 40 minutes S/E of Manchester, so it may have been
either Long Pond or Powwow

I believe N.H. was (and still is)
your (former) neighbor to the
north, so YES ! - It was somewhere
in New England !

Yeah, I kinda suspected New England... It's where I've seen the most Snapping Turtles... They can be right dangerous animals. I didn't really get "left with" any great desire to eat more, after my 1st bowl of turtle soup, the 1 and only time I had any, so; I pretty much just try to leave those rascals alone.
