Probably won’t fish until we sell this house and buy another one.
Been tearing down the old wooden sheds and hauling it off myself. Junk haulers wanted up to $700 to do it. Frist load is gone, working on the second load and that should do it. Total cost for me $110 just taking my time. Working in the morning and evenings, it’s too hot midday here, 80s. But I’m holding my own at 74 years old. lol.

Catfish, I don't go to the attic, dont have access to it. I haven't subscribed to it, don't want it.The post was in the first section, upcoming topics, about the 3rd to 6th item down. It's not there now, no offence here, it just struck me odd, a political post on a fishing site. Possible admin mistake IDK, dont care. I didn't INTENTIONALY come up to the Attic. By the way I didn't v**e Democrat. Dont like the direction a lot things are going. Keep fishing DEEJAY is not offended.

It's always the first thing upon my opening the forum, Spirit....reads (in blue print, indicating that I have not read yet) "Upcoming Topics in all categories". Usually has but 5, maybe 6, today's had like, 8 or 9.

Not sure if anyone else has done so, but I always check out the "New Topics" at the top of the page and click, then click on "Unread only" and often, if I haven't been there in a day or two, find as many as 30 or 40 topics that for some reason, never make it to the main page. And yet it seems that a quarter to a third of "main page" are "a rerun"...idk what the criteria might be. I just embibe in what I can read when I find it, ....upcoming, new, rerun, chit-chat, or attic, matters not. At this point I am entertained, even when the subject is bass or baitcasters, two things I really don't give a damn about, in the least.

Outside of phone calls and TV, and the minimal interaction with a random grocery clerk or gas station attendant, this forum is my "outside world" contact, this past 10 months......and I thank goodness (and y'all !) for it daily.
I so long for a shot of tequila with my bass-player and lead-guitar player longtime buddies in the Grape Street Bar and Grill or the Bella Union, (local watering-hole/restaurants with music venue,where I know the bartenders and waitresses, as well as the owners, & that I worry about surviving this stretch), just before they start the first set and I know the crowd will be copacetic, if not old friends, as well.
Hope springs eternal, right ?
