With my company announcing working remote is indefinite, I have an opportunity to move anywhere in the US for fishing. What would you recommend is the best place?

Venice La. best salt water and fresh water fishing I have ever had and I live in south Florida. Check it out. Otherwise the Florida keys.
Kona, Hawaii is 70 degrees everyday and a wide variety of Marlin, Tuna and Ahi right out of the harbor.
I'm on Yorktown, VA and have access to best Saltwater fishing around. Numerous rivers, Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Climate is 4 seasons and different fish all 4. I like it here.
Oh, anywhere in Dixie......
Gotta think climate, too. The Delta has great fishing and great climate. Wait, just kidding, not a great place to fish, nothing to see here.
Tight Lines 🎣
Florida best fresh water and salt water fishing in the world. Winter Haven is in the middle of the state hurricanes have little effect.
South Dakota would be your answer. Missouri River System has any sort of fresh water fish you could ask for. Black Hills has numerous lakes and streams for the trout fisherman, and the Glacial Lakes in NE S.D. should provide for your needs. Plus, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to live here and for the most part, we have dodged much of the present virus problems. You will, however need a good warm coat during the winters.
For surf fishing, Panama City Beach Florida
I'd ask where is the best place for what you like to fish for. Fla's ice fishing is kinda slow.
Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
Me and RJ share similar views. I know some of you would think "fishing first", but living where you are comfortable should be the first consideration to me. Some like the warm weather, others like the cooler regions of the country. By reading the above, the fishing is pretty good just about any where in this great USA. To me, East Texas has lots of lakes and rivers and not too far from the coast for fresh and salt water fishing. Plus plenty of hogs and deer to hunt right out your back door.
Take care out there. That's my scoop. Running and Gunning
South Florida! You can fish there year round and lots of different types of fish are available. Inshore bank, surf and lake fishing. You don't really need a boat, but small skiff or kayak will help you catch more. Good Luck!
