Customer service died years ago. They buried it with logic and common sense.

Sluggish 😂
My son in law who is hard working, ethical and knows what really good customer service is just got fired because the manager of the store wanted to give his position to her girlfriend. Life sucks sometimes.

He probably didn’t have a chance to thrive there, anyway. If Upper Management was that way, he is better off elsewhere. I hope something comes along for him soon. Good luck to him.

Good morning Fish. It does suck. Unfortunately, that is more common than you would think. The idea that if you show up, work hard, and the company can count on you gets you ahead, is a joke. A myth.

I've seen it too often. Management that plays favorites, screws people over, and will drop you in a heartbeat for any reason.

Sorry for the cynical rant. Just my 2 cents. It even happens to caregivers. Clients and their family love you one day, dump you the next.

Everyone needs a place to vent we can take it to the attic.

Holding it in letting it build is for sure not good.

Good morning from the Dirty City. We've got hazy sunshine @~80° near the lake y 76° @ CLE (go figure) {It's often cooler near the lake, @ this X of year.} They are expecting "a heat index value" of 100°, later. It is expected to rain between 2P y 7P, AND; NOAA (for SOME reason), has mentioned that "no snow fell yesterday".

In my younger days, I'd been known to water-ski, on Lake Erie... Those days are long gone. The last X I'd gotten up on a pair of skis, was in the Indian River, @ Ft. Pierce, Fla., in ~ ¿1992-3? ... As far as snow-skiing goes, I'd have to X-travel back to ~1976! (And, there ain't no decent snow skiing around here, in any case; I'd done that, a few X's up in MA y NH.)

I tried most, but decided I have enough expensive hobbies. I tried wakeboarding a couple years ago, that was fun. Wake surfing is last on the bucket list, but the new shoulder and hip have put that on the back burner. I try to heal up over the Winter so I can give her Hell in the Spring. No sense in falling off a mountain or skiing into a tree and ruining the whole year...or worse.

When I was in my fifties I got my old surfboard our and went surfing. When I finally got out past the breakers it felt like my arms were going to fall off.
When I got home I cleaned up the board of the old wax and put it outside with a for sale sign on it. Got $300 for it.

A family looked at the board and the dad said that was too much to pay.
I told him that I would hold the board while they looked at used boards at surf shops to see what $300 would get them. My board was in like new condition, when they looked at it the daughter said that my board was a good price. He came back the next day and bought it.

You set a fair price to sell it, bottom line. Everyone wants to negotiate...even a great deal!

What is something worth? What someone is willing to pay for it. Professional athletes get paid what someone thinks they are worth. Nothing right or wrong about it. Just reality.

Yeah, you're exactly right, ~ ¿What is anything worth?; ... OJd: ¿How long have you had your "replacement parts"? ... I had a titanium hip installed (complete upper & lower) in either late 1998 or early 1999. ... {CRS}

I bought the board used for $300 before I sold it for $300. Only cost was the wax at about 50 cents a bar. Pretty much broke even. Used it for a few years then it just sat in the garage until I took it out in my fifties when my arms about fell off. LOL.
