I’m gonna buy that only because I don’t know. Fred you ever sell used cars?

No but that's all I buy, so I've learned most if not all the techniques. Not quite selling ice to eskimos, but getting closer.

You have taken really good care of your lures

That's an advantage of having "too many " Mike, less wear and tear on each individual one! Sounds like a legitimate reason to buy more.

I think the skirt is probably a add on

I purchased my first one in the mid 1960's....it had a skirt...still does. Bought another one last year. It has a skirt too. The old one is yellow with orange spots and a yellow skirt. Caught a couple of bass on it last month.

I can't help but notice the lures I take to Canada can get really chewed up by pike & walleye. I quit taking older wooden lures because of the damage & the plastic lures have teeth marks & scratches all over them. Do you guys that fish everyday in water with those species notice the damage to your lures? I've even noticed the soft plastics on a jig head really take a beating. Good luck & tight lines.

Yeah bc,pike are the Bluefish of freshwater. I had one on a spinnerbait, and while bringing him to the boat, another one ripped the willowleaf blade off, trying to get what the other one was eating! In saltwater Bluefish are the same way. Tore up a lot of Rapala Magnums.

Yes some of my lures takes a beating between the musky chewing on them and me bouncing them off the rocks and stuff.
