Off Westerly RI. Blackfish

Went Blackfishing Friday, Oct 27. Many many undersized sea
Bass and tautog. Ended up with 6 keeper taugs and 2 jumbo porgies
5 guys fishing. Beautiful day on the water.

If using bait one must use circle hooks. For artificials I believe no trebles allowed.

Fishing license California

I have dual residency- Florida and CT. Zero fee for hunting and fishing in both states but in CT, u need to pay for deer tags unless u hunt your own land, which I do. No fees at all in FLa. I am over 65.

Yes. They are great smoked. I also make a bisque, like lobster bisque, and fish cakes too. I boil the filets for both the bisque and the fish cakes.
