Use a water bobbers held by a swivel to a 4.5 to 5 foot leed line to a royal coachman fly or a black pistol Pete's with a propeller on front it's like a rooster tail with a propeller they sell them at walmart get largest size they have just cast it reek it in semi fast and there's the wake bam
I was looking off the 202 bridge the other day into the part of the river right before tempe town lake and I could see several more than 4 5ft ? I believe them to be carp but a friend has caught 10 lb bass and 20lb catfish there
Depends if spool is catching Take spool out as 40 reel tighten the drag and spool tensioner nut all the way tight reassemble. If it's the spools distributing eye that catches more than likely it's a worn cross hitch track on the distributing eye shaft
Man on Amazon I've got 2 baitcasters by Kast King a speed demon 9.8 to 1 36 inch retrieve THE FASTEST REEL MADE PERIOD and it's the best I've ever had and it was only 69 bucks MADE IN THE USA IN NEW YORK and it's better than any 100 to 400 dollar Daiwa I've ever owned
In S.D. the trout are more plenty per sq acre than anywhere ,and here's what we do.Get a bag cheap water bobbers slide it on then tie on a swivel. Get about a 5 ft lead tie it on then use a royal coachman fly. Fill water bobber full cast it out whether a bait cast or spinner dont matter real it in quickly there's the wake BAM. OH IF royal coachman ain't hitting within 7 casts, Tie on a black mepps well it's not a mepps it's a rooster tail feather with a propeller on front about inch and quarter long they come in packs of two and EVERY FISH HITS IT BIG BASS I even caught 12 lb cat just count to ten after you cast and let bobber sink
