Nice fish! I mainly fish for a cold water species but it's funny, right out of Burlington Bay my 13 yo Sun and I fell upon a little bit of a honey hole for bass in the fall not too far offshore except for the bass for 30 ft down suspended in about 60 for the water. He must have pulled up a dozen bass over 5 lb. He had some fun fights that's for sure. Ever since then it's hard to get him to go Salmon Fishing! Lol.

Curious, have you ventured into the Lake Champlain United forum? A lot of good information there probably a lot of the same anglers that are on this cool page.

And I'll throw this out there. You said you didn't have a boat. If you ever wanted to snag a ride and get out into the Open water I'm more than happy to always take on another passenger. By the looks of it, I'll probably benefit more from the trip and secrets on getting the big ones than anything else. Feel free to message me anytime. Another thing there is a small salmon tournament this weekend, just for bragging rights just call the draw your partner tournament for the lcu Forum AKA frostbite club. We do it annually for a good time and then some good eats afterwards.
