Been following a couple of guys I know. Not much luck yet but we think it's still a bit early. This weeks weather should help,

I'm with you. Hate being blasted by jet skis, loud obnoxious idiots etc. So I am in the Southeatern part of the state and some of the more quite lakes/ponds, especially on a weekday are: Amos Lake, Long Pond, Billings Lake, Hopevill Pond, Lake of Isles, Glasgo Pond. especially if they are not triut stocked. Amos gets nutty on the weekends and Billings can be crazy on weekends to. If you want to send me some lakes you are looking into I may be able to answer your question. Pretty much have fished all in the state at one timeor another. Also, I have a Facebook Site for Kayak Anglers or just angelers in general.

Been looking for the same. Seems everything is still slow near us.

As far as the length I have never conpressed the tail. I believe it is measure natural. Salmon weight with fly I do not know as I do not fly fish much. You may try Ct Fly Fishing on Facebook. As far as getting ahold of someone at DEEP your best bet is to ask your question on their Facebook page. Other than that I have never gotten an answer otherwise. Hope this helps.

Hello everyone.

So long time Ct. resident who loves all types of fishing for all
types of fish. Currently working on rigging up a Ascend 133X
Kayak to get me out on the water. Hopefully will be ready soon.
