If you are looking for a relaxing, peace and quiet places to fish, try a reservoir. I usually go to Hollis-Lathem or Canton Reservoir. There are no gas operational boats allowed in these reservoirs. You may not catch the fish you been catching in Lake Lanier, but you won’t have to fight boats and their wake either. You can google both places for information and location.

Thanks for the Lake Juliette tip for kayak fishing. As for the Rock Creek area, I have fished and camped there and Coopers Creek for years. Just looking for a less crowded place to trout fish. Thanks so much for the reply. Will give Lake Juliette a try!

You can go to eregulations.com and find places to fish that are listed by counties or just google “trout fishing north Georgia” for an abundance of info. Good luck fishing!
