I frequently fish the Topock gorge & have been out twice this week. I’ve been cruising the shorelines of the bays & coves looking for bass & beds which I see frequently when bass are in the shallows. I haven’t seen or caught ANY bass on either trip. We’re about to have a full moon, but last year the spawn didn’t start strong until around a week+ after full moon. Spawning may be happening sooner down River but water is probably a few degrees warmer there.
