Depends on what you are fishing for
You guys wanted pictures. Well here they are.
The weather warmed up and the bite was on. Last Monday I caught five, Tuesday I caught four and the biggest one was about eight lbs. others were four to six. Here are the pictures.
I have a picture of the nine pounder that I caught. Will share it with you guys.
I have changed my tactics. As soon as I feel a bite I let the line go slack and when the fish takes up the slack I set the hook.
I will bring everyone up to date on my bass fishing. The pond I fish is only 2000 feet perimeter and only 4 feet deep. That being said I have caught a 9 lb largemouth there and several 4 to6 lbs. I did take your advice and slowed down my presentation and also changed to a 5 inch senko watermelon with red and black. I don’t know which one worked but I have had some success. Thanks everyone for your advice.
Thanks for the comments. I have been working it pretty fast. I will definitely slow it down. I am using a Yamamoto worm light brown.
I fell a month ago and think I tore my rotator cuff in my left shoulder. It has only gotten worse so I finally am going to orthopedics. We don’t heal very fast anymore.
Any recommendations for October for a charter boat in the Panama City Beach area
I spend at least 3 hours a day fishing from the bank on a small lake and average 2 fish per day. That being said there are days I don’t even get a strike. What is going on. Very frustrating.
I am 78 now and have had my old timer since I was 12. It has two blades about 3 inches long and fits easily in my pocket. Not as heavy or bulky as a swiss army knife.
Must be a congressional memo. No wonder they don't get anything done.
If you know somebody that has a dark house, I think that is the most exciting way to ice fish. You can see the fish as they come in and try to attack your decoy. You will probably be fishing for either northern pike or pan fish. You will probably need a tent or some kind of a shelter with heat. You can pretty much fish the same way in any part of the state. There are hundreds of lakes around Minneapolis and most have public access. Just get a free fishing guide from any bait store and the guys there will be your best source of information.
I just replaced the water pump on my Honda 25hp outboard motor. Does anyone know if I have to readjust the gear shift rod and if so, how to do it.
