I know the feeling of being skunked. My family would camp on a lake here in Oregon. There would be 5 of us fishing all week long using the same bait. (Grubs) then Grandma would show up for the weekend, and she would catch more fish in three days than all 5 of us did all week. Still using the same bait. I think it was her scent she worked in a bakery making breads of all kinds. I never could get her to bait my hook to see if my theory was right. At least I wasn't the only one being skunked. Lol
I think that was a lucky catch, one that you'll probably never catch again great picture, beautiful snake.
Hello fellow fishermen,
I recently went fishing at a lake near my home that I fish often from the bank. I was fishing for bass casting a lure. I cast out my line waiting for it to hit the water when I realized that my line was still spooling out. It had landed on the back of a duck that flew by when I casted out. I shouted out to my boyfriend I've caught a duck. I gave my. Line a good yank pulling the duck down to the water. I was reeling in my line hoping that I hadn't lost my lure in the ducks back. When a man fishing from a boat about15 feet off shore that had seen the whole things yells out now that's what you call foul fishing. U never know what you might catch!
I think that brown trout taste better than rainbow, their good fried or barbequed. My aunt would can them like tuna and make fish Patty's they were delicious.
