I bought the pole and reel on letgo.com. I kept it like he had it...the line is white and 100 lbs test braided. No luck fishing, not a bite so I've changed the line to 20lb and set up a drift fishing setup. Hopefully I'll at least get a bite...I'll let you know if I catch one... I'm the world's worst fisherman 😥
I've gone 8 years skunked...no bite no nothing.... still gunna keep trying cuz I don't know how to quit...

Thanks, I'm in south Washington state..the cowlitz river is poor fishing right now, looking for another spot or area river where the salmon or steelhead are running
