The little I have recently heard about San Carlos is, it has been almost empty the last few years. The recent storms has brought the level up but there isn't much in the way of fish being caught.

I'm afraid right now it would be very difficult for someone in a wheel chair, if not impossible to find some place to shore fish because of the high water levels. All shoreline is under water. I have been there many times under "normal" conditions and any place I can think of is under water.

I'm not sure you'll attract any Strippers with Anchovies but Stripers now is a different thing. At Lake Pleasant in AZ and anywhere in northern CA, just cut big chunks and put it on a hook. Preferably in a drop shot style rig.

I'm pretty sure Bill Williams is an outlet and sends water to the Phoenix area and fills Lake Pleasant. The reason Pleasant has Stripers.

Stripers are easy to catch. They will hit most bass lures but frozen anchovie is best.

Can't tell you were to fish but there are dozens of hotels and such in the area. Also, there is a RV park not to far from the London Bridge.

I was at Roosevelt Tuesday (10-17). Typical of Rosie the last few years, had to fish in whitecaps all day. One bass for the day.
