I'm going to Roosevelt Lake the last week in April and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on where a handicapped ♿️ in a wheelchair can get around to fish. Do they have any docks or good access to shore fishing. I can't find it on their website. Thanks for any advice you got.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of places to get a wheelchair close to the water. The lake is at 106% and a lot of shore line is flooded. Check with the Marina. There is also a picnic area on the Tonto end and the water is right up to the wall. That could work.

Try the picnic area It's all paved the water's high you might be able to fish right off the cement
pad about quarter mile from the blue bridge at Roosevelt lake going south

it's been ten years but I recall that Grapevine had some HC access. Check with the Forest Service. They control the facilities and have an office at the Lake. Tight Lines from a former 'Zonie!

I'm afraid right now it would be very difficult for someone in a wheel chair, if not impossible to find some place to shore fish because of the high water levels. All shoreline is under water. I have been there many times under "normal" conditions and any place I can think of is under water.

Crank bait. He also has had great luck at Roosevelt last weekend. Caught 22 largemouth bass on crank bait. He also used a ned rig with a weed protector in the tall grass in the back of the coves. Said the water was 74 in the shallows.
