The lake is still in the winter draw down and the docks are not back in the water as of yesterday 4/9/2023
There are boats out with people fishing though.

I used to live 20 minute from Blue Marsh and fished it fairly regularly. I found it to be very frustrating but I prefer fishing the Susquehanna which is a whole different animal from lake fishing.
I do see reports from others that are quite successful there. They have a tournament every Tues evening with the local bass club and the results are posted in the Reading paper on Fridays. Those participants catch fish.
There is a lot of pressure on the lake and it does ease up in the fall and spring. I would recommend trying finesse type bass fishing and see what works for you.
