Well guys, one last time, out with the old and in with the new.
Something kept nudging me this morning so I went to my old honey hole.
Caught 1 Waleye, 22", but that was a nice way to end the year. Man did the fog roll in and it started to rain so I guess that was my que.

Nice Eye CT. That's a great way to end the year, and take advantage of the mild weather. Happy New Year, and hopefully you'll join us at Bald Eagle next year.

Yes sir, I want to make it up there with you guys and I'm really hoping to do it this year. I was on a chat for sale or lake I guess it's called up there I've only been up there a few times but I enjoyed every time I was up. I always caught fish nothing big but you know some perch I've caught rock bass some smallmouth.

It's a beautiful lake, and we caught a few decent Largemouth there. We lost a few bigger ones, so we know they're there. Also hoping to tap the Smallmouth next time. We'll start discussing a time frame soon, but we're leaning towards the 3rd or 4th week of June.

This year we did the first week of June, and caught some leftover spring wind and rain. We tried again at the end of September, and caught a little fall chilly weather. We're moving a little deeper into summer to hopefully catch some warmer, sunnier days. I'll post an Announcement in a month or so, so everyone has time to arrange their schedules.

I'm retired brother, I go everytime I can get out, or wife says "don't you want to go fishing today",
Which is like almost every day.

Yes, I agree. we're to get some rain but have some warm weather. Hope we don't return to those cold temps we ha last month. As long as the ice stays off the water I'm going to get out.
Got my fishing license this morning so I'm good to go.
