Any tips on early October fishing on Blue Marsh? Mostly looking to Bass fish, but whatever is biting is fine.

Good luck Mike. I've heard more negative comments about Blue Marsh than positive. Maybe reduced boat traffic n cooler weather will pay off 👍
Hi Mike:
I used to live 20 minute from Blue Marsh and fished it fairly regularly. I found it to be very frustrating but I prefer fishing the Susquehanna which is a whole different animal from lake fishing.
I do see reports from others that are quite successful there. They have a tournament every Tues evening with the local bass club and the results are posted in the Reading paper on Fridays. Those participants catch fish.
There is a lot of pressure on the lake and it does ease up in the fall and spring. I would recommend trying finesse type bass fishing and see what works for you.
