I've been fishing the creeks and rivers around Savannah and Tybee. And the redfish seem to be everywhere.

Fishing around Tybee today 10-3-22.
Fished the entire outgoing tide with live shrimp today and literally wore myself out catching redfish or spot tail bass. Different strokes for different folks. Ifish for fun so I throw all of them back. I tend to fish a little different than most. I use 12 to 14 lb mono with no leader and no sinker. And use a fresh water 3" cork. The kind that has the built in lead on one end. That way I can get the distance on my cast. And use live shrimp in the creeks and rivers around Savannah this time of year. And that tends to be the best combo for the size of the redfish that are so plentiful this time of year. Although getting into the cooler months it's no problem to fish with fresh cut mullet and catch some really big reds.

Can anyone tell me if there is a specific tide that leans toward better fishing results for flounder and trout?

What is the best artificial bait for red fish in October. And what time of year is best for red fish? Flounder? Trout?
