It sucks. There’s no way around it but to stop having them. I’ve had to say farewell to 3 labs. Always cry like a baby. Lost my dad over the holidays. That was worse. Way worse. Hope you gain solace from her memories.
I’ve been a member for 2 years. The information is top notch. Some you know some you don’t. If you want to be a better all around fisherman and focus on lures vs live/chunk bait it’s worth it. DM me for more info.
Welcome Soldier! Welcome home and thank you. I’m a fellow vet of the Navy of 27 years. Flew Tomcats in Dessert Storm and Yugoslavia. Great group.
Welcome. This is a great group just to read and learn from Steve. Folks a very open and generous.
The NJ flounder season is very liberal so if you want flounder go north. I agree with everything you said. Someone is getting a payoff you can be certain and the commercial guys are “reeling in” the dough. Sad.
Nucanoe F12. I fish and hunt and just cruise. You can add a pedal system that doesn’t compromise the hull. Or you can add a 2.5 OB, electric trolling motor as well. I use a 55lb Minn Kota.
Wow! A mice mullet AND a salute. Back at ya brother!! Nice catch. BZ
Thanks so much! May bring kayak down to the bay.
Hello all. Been lurking in the group for a while. Anyone surf fishing in MD at OC or Assateague Island. Thinking about heading east for a day.
The bait is in the flats by the grass at high tide. If you don’t see bait or or reds tailing or bustin, move on. I’m not experienced in there but I know pros who are and if there are fish, that’s where to find em.
Hey Pickett. There are a ton of creeks and rivulets depending on the tides. You can go back into these and cast into the flats. Study the geo maps and find structure and current and bait. Good luck.
