Hello all. Been lurking in the group for a while. Anyone surf fishing in MD at OC or Assateague Island. Thinking about heading east for a day.

No, not yet this year in OC, have not fished on Assateague, but there is a good chance you will catch stripers this time of year. If I lived closer to the shore I would surf fish as much as I could now for stripers, also on the Bay side between 2-4 streets there is a nice long bulkhead, with wooden walkway, benches, porta potty, cleaning bench w/ running water and no MD license required. Caught many fish there and in the surf during June-July, but no stripers ever during those months.
