A wipers here is cross between white bass and striper. Called wiper. We call white bass sand bass lol.

We got a lot of hybirds in Oklahoma easiest here is catch them in Summer when there surfacing chasing shad but another way when there deep (our deep is 25 ft ) is take a old bommer plug take hooks off add a small swivel sinker to center hook and a 3 ft or about mono to back hook then a small silver spoon like lur Jensen I think there made in Oregon and drag that slow. Courious about emullin lol my name is Everett Mullin ...

Retired need help
Can't Helping u out with out seeing what u got but would suggest taking it down to a bass pro lot academy type store or just take it down to the boat ramp and show it to the guys. Bet ya can get some good advice..
