Or even a small dodger with a light spoon or a wooly bugger. And if your top line trolling just about anything besides a minnow type lure that you want speed up some when trolling with. When trolling away to tell if your going about the right speed or not. Is by keeping an eye on your rod tip you want like a semi- slow rhythmic tic not too fast and not too slow.
You ever have one of those days where something happens and you and your fishing partner drive home in silence. Well it happened to me yesterday between me and my 1st mate. I forgot and didn't bring his wet weather gear because I didn't think it was going to rain but for maybe a sprinkle or 2. But I guessed that wrong at one point the rain was coming down pretty good. My first mate he's pretty much a fair weather dog. He's really not into to going out into the rain or even the wind and we had both yesterday. I tried putting the top up on the boat for him. But and he still wasn't having any of it. So I called it day and off the water 2:00. But I guess I that wasn't early enough for him. He gave me the cold shoulder all the way home and then some
Hey Ranger What a wonderful time it is to be living in the age of LED lighting. And the same can be said about the head gear.
Don't forget the whole cloves of garlic
Hey Fly That pond has to be a big add plus for ya. I've always hated moving. It's when me and my wife Bernice seems to have some of our biggest fights for some reason. And the last time we moved close to 20yrs ago
. We agreed the next time we have to move, we might as well save ourselves the headache and just get a divorce. Man I hope we never have to move again, I'm getting too old to go through one of those D words. Hopefully by Friday some of Marion's health issues will have eased up some for her. Now that all the stress from moving is over with. And it's nothing to serous.
Catching your 1st ray is kind of like your 1st girlfriend. In that you'll never for get it and it doesn't even have to be a big one. To get your mind racing from it's got be a monster striper or some kind of world record fish. Or even watching someone catching their 1st ray or any ray is always fun to watch also.
Wow Gordon That's one hell of pictures.
Oh yeah it works I do it all the time injecting worms with air. When I'm fishing for trout. I even add a mini marshmallow to it. And use the marshmallow more as a guide than for bait. If I see the marshmallow floating in the surface it's probably time to check my bait. Because the worm may not be floating anymore.
Hey Popa D Have you ever try this We used take Pipe and grind one end down to like a sharp punch. And take a hammer and hammer it into the wings. And when the pipe got full we would use wooden dowel broom stick or what ever fit to push the meat out of the pipe. And just trim off the skin and the grisel part out of the center and cut the rest up in to scallop sized looking pieces.
And what a site it would have been.
If I really would have done it. The dog house wouldn't have been big enough back then. But by now I think it'd be rather comfortable after all the renovations. Because I'd probably still be in it.
I thought I'd surprise my wife and remodel the family room. But she didn't like my idea. So back to the drawing board. But I think it would have wonderful to sit through an earth quake
