Also check out jungle prada early mornings. I have caught snook yellow tail and big sheepshead there..
I launch out of anclote and i see lots of people catchingon the pier..
I did not mention Shimano..i have had all the stradic models and the sustain. Very light and cast well but with a nice fish on they seem to feel flimsy..not a fan..been a daiwa fan since 1972..
I fish out of anclote all the time and seen a few bulls..they leave me alone and i leave them alone..
Best value is the Penn pursuit..hard to beat for $60 great HT-100 drag. I also love the BG reels i have two of the inshore and they never fail me..the Penn battle III binds up after one full day use..just got the BGMQ 3000..what a great reel..caught over 30 trout last two trips and it felt fantastic. I also use the Fin nor lethal 40 for heavy stuff..great reel for what it costs..kills the battle III..the tsunami armor is a nice reel for under $100
Ok damn it here is the secret spot…on the way stop before going over first bridge just before tiara verde..right side of bridge. Lots of morning snook and great snapper and trout in the afternoon..
Fred howard island. Many good spots for a wheel chair
A few reds being caught early morning at anclote pier
The key i fish is 3 miles away from the dock..i did it once with the electric almost didnt make it back..
Do not get a electric motor..i made the $1200 mistake..went back to a 15 hp gas motor and man was i happy..i lost 1200 reselling the electric…the electric cant go very far unless you go super slow..its hard to get out of the way of gas boats. It also has the battery pack that loses power faster and faster as it gets used..
