Good job Ripo!
Sounds like a great time.
Please post some pics.
My daughter gave birth to my second grandson yesterday.
I took the first grandson fishing here on my farm ponds in March and he caught his first fish.
Good times
Way Cool
You are correct Tablerock.
No trolling motors on this pond.

Thanks for reminding me/us how fun pond fishin is.
Not sure what was after that fish.
That’s why I posted it.
Anyone got some ideas?
My farm ponds has been producing the usual fish this summer. Nothing of spectacular size. Usually can catch a half dozen in a hour or less. Using light tackle so they all feel like monsters. I toss everything at them. Top water is my favorite.
Fun Fun , all good for the soul 😎
638 is about right Tablerock🤪
Got this one this morning!
Cloudy out , with a slight Southerly breeze, in the mid 50’s.
Thinking it’s a female with eggs?
Let her go, swam right off no problem.
Might catch her again.
Thanks for the info Little Chicken
Post some photos please
Fishing has slowed on my farm ponds too
Got three yesterday
All small
Way Cool Tabletock👍
Thanks for tip.
Will try tomorrow
Catching fish has slowed down on my farm ponds.
Weather is probably the cause.
I still try every day no matter if it’s raining or windy. It doesn’t take much to get out there and toss some lures.
What to toss is the question?
Anyone got any recommendations?
Finally finished the move!
Glad to be back on the farm!
First on my agenda was to toss some lures.

Be careful are you driving long haul my daughter use to live in San Diego before coming back home good fishing when you get back
I’m driving my Chevy truck pulling small trailer with the house plants.
Contracting movers to haul everything else including wife’s car.
I’ve made one haul already pulling a trailer with the truck to move my most precious items.
Missing the time I spend fish my ponds.
It’s good exercise and good for the soul.
This guy swam across the pond the day before I flew back to CA.
Way cool G3!
Nice Fish
Tanks for the photos
Back in CA now for the last haul back to AR. Missing my farm ponds. I might not catch big fish there but I catch fun fish.
