Hey folks when you reply to a post from another user, please click on the quote reply section. That way the intended receiver doesn't have to scroll back sometimes many pages, to find what in the world are you referring to.

If you are just making a general statement to no one in particular in the thread, then just click on reply.

Thanks for the update!

Look into Tenkara rods and it’s system, you might like it.
Good luck and may you get many “(fish on)” thrills!

Hello Coolbirds my name is Richard S I am from Southern California.
I was thinking of going to Bishop but right now it’s still pretty hot like 90+ sometimes.
and where I wanted to go there’s no trees for shade a hat or umbrella but that may spook the trout.
trout fishing is very good there I was thinking also of the Owens Valley or closer...that’s all I’m gonna say reply back to me if you want.

As nickeltippler says use stainless steel.
Amazon sells “stainless steel soap” starting at $5.99 and up.
Shaped like a bar of soap. Run water over your hands while rubbing the “soap”.
It’ll remove garlic, fish, onion, s#*t, smell by removing the sulfur which causes the odor.
Buy it once and use it indefinitely. You’ll save $ in the long run.

A Traeger or Masterbilt. QVC has Masterbilt. I had 3 Masterbilts’. Gave one to the fire department for their help gave another to my mechanic and I kept the small mini one for myself. Hope that helps. PS QVC gives you 30 days to try it out. Then you can do monthly payments!

That’s probably a good policy to do. I’d rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks again buddy. I tried fishing at Dana point Harbor on the short pier caught one calico bass and then a big one broke my line. I may try the jetty on the ocean side.
what’s the best rig to use as the waves are pretty strong.
Any advice I would appreciate.
