Thought I would kill some time today and wet a line or two!! The end results weren’t bad!! Just kept these 4, all others were too small. Caught a lot of them though, and on canned SWEET CORN!!!
Been there, done that!!! Upside is all new lights and wiring!!

Will a 5 hp 2013 Mercury push my 12 ft V-Jon boat with 2 people and gear at a reason able speed?
I have a 14 ft V-Jon, and have 1984 7.5 merc, it pushes great and even makes a decent wake behind it. Boat is loaded with 2 batteries, trolling motor, fuel tank, cooler and 1-2 additional people. Have had no issues in any power lose loaded down. Should be ok with 5 hp.

Raiders really did look bad today.
Did the Raiders even show up in KC?! GO CHIEFS!!
Spoonbill is a one of a kind fish, very easy to recognize if you have ever seen one. They are kind of a prehistoric looking fish!!!
Almost looks like a “Spoonbill” skeleton. At least that’s what it looks like to me.
A GREAT read troller!! Thank you for the “fisherman’s prayer”, haven’t read or heard it for years!

I counter with a sixteen foot 90 hp skeeter kinda old but still goes
And I will counter with a 1968 14 foot Starcraft “V” bottom with a 20 hp Merc, and it still floats!

Yes, all this is true I agree completely. But, be right with God first for it is truly the most important because our time may come faster than what we think.
Amen brother!! I thank God every morning for the day he has created and may I walk through this day the best way I can to honor him. We shall never forget what has happened on this day, ever!!!!!
So the last swivels I purchased have been total junk!! They come unclamped, or just break altogether!! Was out of them, and was in a pinch, so I just purchased a generic ball bearing swivel, and to big to boot. No I feel like a dumba$$ for not taking extra time to find a good quality swivel. Could sure use some insight on a quality swivel! Thanks in advance to all and “Happy Fishing”!
He saw the outside world for the first time, and said he is NEVER coming back!!! SCARY PLACE!! And that other fish hurt me!!!
So.....according to all the replies to my post, I went out and bought a couple crawler harnesses, went out today and gave them a bounce along a rock drop off, falls from 10-25 foot. And what do you know!!! Caught me a couple “eyes”!!! Not big enough to keep, but still caught them!!! First time I have caught “eyes” in the summer! That was fun!!! My other line was catching stripe bass as fast as I could get in in the water, was using a bluish, yellowish, orangish crank, colors all blend together, in about 8 ft of water !! What a blast!!
This was the 3rd time!!!!
I used to live in DesMoines Iowa, and there are no laws about fishing at night that I ever knew of. I fished at night all the time.
