Take a look at feistyfish.net. They have had some success just inside the mouth.

I suspect you're joking but can advise it's technically illegal to chum for freshwater fish. Don't let authorities see you. That being said, often many anglers may spill several kernels of corn in the water above their spot by accident as they clumsily try to put some on their hook.

While some will troll, most will anchor in key hot spots...south end near marshy beds, west side near campground and up to the NW corner, along the north rock face just west of the main resort area. You'll see the pods of boats most of the time. Very few are fishing the middle of the lake but some do troll through there or along the eastern shoreline.

That photo has been around for a while. Pretty sure it is an Alaska fish and pic is at least a year or 2 old. That was not in Oregon City recently. He was posting as kind of a joke.

The huge number of smelt isn't helping matters either. Another week will be better....I hope.

Some caught now and then but not hot yet. ODFW checker on Saturday had over 100 anglers on Prescott, Diblee and other bank anglers with zero Chinook retained.

Not in the Columbia, Willamette and tribs or even offshore north of Cape Falcon. only Chinook south of Cape Falcon in the ocean is closed.

I've used wireless and wired remote as well as steering link arm, but have finally gone back to EZ-Steer device as it won't let you down like electronic tech devices. Wireless has gone out on me and I had no kicker steering, batteries fail, etc. But the EZSteer is reliable and 100%. I still use my remote for kicker throttle though...it hasn't quit yet.
