Maybe a dumb question but i read a lot of posts about throwing a can of corn out then fishing. My question is how do you get the metal cans of corn out of the water or do you just leave them in the water?

I open a can of corn 🌽 with a can opener, dump the corn into a plastic container, then throw the corn from the container into the water with my hand.

I suspect you're joking but can advise it's technically illegal to chum for freshwater fish. Don't let authorities see you. That being said, often many anglers may spill several kernels of corn in the water above their spot by accident as they clumsily try to put some on their hook.
