one place to look is along HWY 14 in the Patterson area there are many spots along the Columbia River easy to walk to there are islands and inlets use Google Earth for mapping and roads shore fish using an inflatable canoe or shore fishing is good. In the past be mindful of ticks and snakes not a big issue but they might be there.
This is for Bass usually. in the past i have used worms successfully hope it helps

Hi looking for some advice on fishing walk and wade along the road driving from Kalispell through Browning and down to Great Falls then on through Cascade and Craig looking for spots and thinking of going late June to mid July
any suggestions would be appreciated

hello have you looked at any of the Seep Lakes near the Potholes like Long Lake or Hampton lake (Seasonal) some dont allow motors but have boat launch
HI so I have fished non fly on the Kalama river there is a few spots to go that are public use and Discovery pass usually when the steelhead are running there are people there but if you fly fish and wade down stream a bit it is good
as you travel east past the RV park (along the freeway) go along the river road past the small store and you will find a parking with toilets within a mile or so

Brian check out the Seep Lakes around Othello/potholes area be careful as many have embankments with a distance to get out of the water the MarDon Resort has great maps of all the lakes some are seasonable some open all year

Hi I do fish some of the Seep Long Lake Corral and Blythe also good for trout there are some other lakes Hampton is seasonal that all have good trout and i did catch a Blue Gill at Corral
i dont fish for them hope some one else can help
hi there are several so Bass i would try around patterson along the Columbia abd for trout look at the lakes between Pasco and Othello or up past Othello to the Pot Holes
Slamon the Columbia up between tri cities and Ringold oe Snake river from columbia up stream

HI I suggest you look around Plymouth and Patterson there are several places to launch or bank fish and also some inlets and islands along the shore that provide great places for them
