I used to fish the Pend Orille when nobody was aware of how big the bass were. Let me say nobody knew. Regulation has controlled over what trout fishermen & women called trash fish!

First time responder, but have been reading all the topics ,not bragging by any means but grew up a half block from the Spokane river . A lot of deep lakes here in the great northwest. I tie trout flies and agree the hemp stats are not only good for holding feathers, but getting that hook. If you catch one that needs to grow up ,try to be nice to the trout . Semper fi to all my military Bros and WMs ooh rah and I find all of you well informed or have a lot to contribute. Learned alot . Hope I can contribute. I am only 64 this January. Kris Judson
