I don't know . they are up on nimrod though whites and crappie , caught 2 blues in the mess too. Guess they were snacking on the first two. But hanging into a 14 pound cat on an ultralight rod will get your blood pumping so its all good. I was using minnows and jigs fishing creek runs good luck

I make knives as a hobby .I have made 3 knives for cleaning fish. They are 3 billion times harder to make then skinning knives. The thinner you make a blade the more careful you have to be during the forging and heat treating process. now I use A1C stainless ,it a air cooling steel just have to hang them in a place with as little air flow as you can or they tend to curve which is fixable but it's a pain in the behind.

My grandfather (pappy) had this knife many years past, gave it to my uncle John who then passed it on to me. Advertised as a floating fishing knife which it does, made of Japanese stainless steel which has lived up to itโ€™s reputation for over 70 years. Sharpens quite easily and holds an edge quite well. Still use it from time to time for nostalgics sake.

Hello, new here. ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm curious about fishing lake Nimrod, or Lake Ouachita for crappie, when and with what? Jig and a minnow is the best way I know, if there's something better, or now it's not the time, let me know. Thank you!!

best time to fish nimrod for crappie is spring time, you might try along the rock bluffs on north side of lake. I haven't had a chance to fish in the past two months ...working 7 days a week bites rocks!

Hey yall I'm in Fort Smith,,New to the area and love catfishing the river, but I haven't found "that" spot. Any suggestions that might help a feller out?

Try below Morrilton dam on the south side bout 400 yards out from the dam

Any water running through spillway and anybody catching good size blues

the river is not running at dardanelle and they are not generating through the electric part of the dam either , everything up this way is medium to low on water height .
