Summit Lake, Ward Lake both have Kokanee. Hicks Lake and Offutt lake have good trout fishery.
Here is a couple of ways: snap weights or instant down rigger by Reddy Rig or some trolling weights in a banana shape
Larry there is a lake not to far from you if you like to fish for trout. Name of the lake is Offutt Lake on old 99 just outside of Tenino heading towards Olympia there is a resort on the lake called Offutt Lake Resort With a restaurant called Lady Of The Lake. The resort has boat rental and also has a nice fishing dock with benches and holes in the foot board to set your pole in, cost is around $6 cash for the fishing dock for senior citizens it is a two pole lake and they sell license there don’t know about the handicap license though. There is a flight of stairs to walk down to the dock, if your in wheelchair I would call them up and see if they accommodate you down to the dock if your interested and I believe the lake is also open all year.
That’s “Addicted Fishing” not Fishing Addicted

Hello everyone my name is Mike I just moved here from AZ last month. Can’t wait to get acclimated to local fishing. I have my brothers flying in next week and we’d like to fish either the 14th or 15th I am assuming on the Columbia since I live in Vancouver. Can anyone recommend a guide? I have called several and haven’t received any responses. Thank you for any help you can provide.
I can’t wait to start posting pics!!
Check out Fishing Addicted their a group of guys on YouTube channel and a couple of the guys do guide service on the Columbia River they also have their own online tackle store.
Hi Marna, you could try North Jetty in Ocean Shores for Rock Cod (sea bass) or what ever else is there and in Copalis you could try Copalis River the mouth of the river feeds into the ocean might be able to catch some Surf Perch check your regulations and ask some bait shops in the area.

That’s a few in the area you can google map and find plus get directions to the boat launches, hope that helps you. Good luck and welcome to the group.

Get on the WDFW web site and they have fish stocking reports that tell you where they stock Tripolid trout in the area’s you might want to fish. And if you want to know how to fish for them YouTube is a good place to start.
I watched a lot of his videos, knows what he’s doing when comes to Crappie, Catfish, Bass I’ve even seen him go after Trout in Tennessee. Likes to fish with ultra lite gear, I’ve seen him land 4-5lb bass with 2# test line he even has 1# test on one of his pole that he uses for Crappie. When you watch him he likes to instruct you on how to search and catch the fish he is targeting, really enjoy his videos.
YouTube Richard Gene the fishing machine he fishes Guntersville Lake Crappie Bass and Catfish.
Nancy; stop a sports store and pick you up Washington state fishing regulations book and read thru it. It will give you updated rules and regulations and it has a lot of lakes and rivers in and around Washington it also points out what kind of fish are in that body of water when you decide to fish a certain area google map and find your boat launches and zoom down on the water and as for gear same gear you used in California will work here too.
