Hi Daymaker, I was using a Berkeley Gulp sand worm with a green corky. This batch of eggs I used a 1-2-3 cure.
1 part sugar
2 parts salt (non iodized)
3 parts borax
1/2 table spoon red dye

You might also consider Duck Lake. It is right there n Ocean Shores and has some large trout. Plunking with marshmallow and worm worked for me

Fished Riffe Lake (WA State) yesterday with decent results. Fished up high from the bank where the river comes in to the lake. The bite stayed pretty consistent thru most of the day. Mostly catching landlocked coho and a couple rainbows. Lots of fun on ultralight tackle. Ooops. Double sending text?????

Hi BB. They are usually a little larger than an oyster as they have a digger arm protruding on one end and valve neck on the other. So a little more āmeatā overall. Iād compare the flavor as a little sweeter than other clams. Great for chowders but I like them best breaded and fried.

Hi RJ. We fished the lake in Ocean Shores. Itās called Duck Lake. The city has a park for access with a boat launch and a couple docks. Fun timesā¦ā¦
