What spinning reel should i get to pair with an 7 ft Ugly Stik Elite
Shimano reels are great, and not spendy at all. I got my 4000 syncopate on my 9 ft e lite medium heavy.

Fishing from Westport WA
Took a salmon charter a couple of weeks ago, the boat caught about 9 salmon. Nothing bigger than 10 lbs. They are using barb less hooks.

Fishing Alone?

Hi Aron, trout fishing is not great right now. The water is too warm and the fish are eating bugs and red worms. It's almost salmon season. If you can fish the sound you may have some good luck.

shimano spinning reels
I love shimano reels with the trigger to open the bail. I've got 3 and want to buy a 4th and put it on a 9ft lamiglas pole.

Do I just suck at fishing? I can't catch anything.
Maybe you can meet some one in your area on fishing stage. Post your location and ask for some instruction. There are a lot of good people here and we all love to fish.

I'm from puyallup, fish a lot at offut lake, usually do well but the fish aren't very hungry right now. Going to try mineral lake for the first time tomorrow
