Hello I'm staying at an RV park in Warsaw would love to get together and talk some fishing. Been in the area for about nine months but in NC for about the last four years only going back to ohio to check on the house
I just had knee surgery 4 days ago and really need to go get some catfish,I need a good flat spot preferably on the nurse river by the cliffs but anywhere in that general area would be great.any suggestion
Well I'm not having catfish for dinner but I did have a good laugh.thanx
I've used chicken liver, night crawlers, shrimp, gizzards with garlic, hamburger with garlic limburger and wheelies, goldfish, and cut bait
Have been trying to catch some catfish in the rivers and in some lakes around Warsaw NC and have only cought two in Johnson lake I'm starting to think they took a ride on a UFO or something I've never had this much trouble catching them ,bass have been great cats not so much. WHATS UP?
I know lake Isabella very well I am originally from Cincinnati and worked for the Hamilton county parks for about seven years .it's a pay lake and does support a small amount of crappie it is stocked regularly with catfish and I'm not sure if they still stock trout in colder weather ,it also has bass but they are strictly catch and release,if you are looking to catch crappie I would recommend Miami whitewater forest, also a Hamilton county park,as for me I have been in north caralina for the most of the last three years just go back to Cincinnati every now and then to check on our house ,I like it down here better,I also know a few pay lakes that pride themselves on monster cat fish so if your into big cats just ask
I use to fish alone alot and I really did enjoy it but I have had a few health issues and some of the creeks, streams, and rivers I fish can get a little to remote for me to feel safe . I find myself fishing more populated areas (just in case) and I paitently waiting for someone to have time and the desire to fish the little hide away spots.
Thank you very much .we have been out skittle (site seeing),now it's time to get my fishing in
Really liked this one.thanks for the reminder.
My wife is a traveling nurse so I get the chance to go fishing in alot of different states . I fish for anything a can ,I love game fish,I do alot of cat fishing too,I have been in ponds ,creeks, rivers, lakes and of course the ocean.i have trout fished in a stocked pond but never in these cold mountain streams. Could anyone give me some tips on location, baits and technique.remember this a whole different type of fishing than I'm use too so please use small simple words😄
