Yep very successfully, we have caught landlocked coho, also called kokanee, on white corn died pink, and soaked in the oil from canned tuna fish. We caught them in Merrill lake
We have now.. Thanks to everyone for the advise and tips..w have caught steelhead, Chinook and coho salmon so far, gonna try for sturgeon tomorrow!!! These were caught last Tuesday
Gotcha. I’ve fished from bouy 10 all the way to Priest Rapids dam and I get what you’re saying. But it won’t be long before you’re exploring that whole river with a boat like yours. It gets addicting and the first thing you know you’ll be watching the fish counts and chasing the fish up river. So just Incase you DO get closer to a dam. The biggest issue I had down where you are is not leaving in time if the fishing was good. In which case your jet will be much better. I’ve flung lots of mud down there trying to get back to the boat ramp when I left in 7 feet of water. My boat is an outboard prop so I can’t scoot in the shallows like you’ll be able to.

Ahhh.. Our problem with the launch in Cathlamet is sucking the weeds into the intake when the tide is too low
