I too am a Solitaire Fisher woman , that has had all of the above happen to me. Yet I refuse to be a victim and intimidated ! I now turn on my phones GPS tracker and carry self protection. I have boldly taken photos of license plates. That actually makes a Big impression. Usually enough to act as a deterrent. Missouri is an open carry state. I used to conceal carry...Pepper spray at works on a non windy day at close range !!! I was fishing on a very secluded river levee when 2 guys in a boat pulled boldy up to the bank. This after a quiet discussion between them. They decided to leave quickly after I stood up, turning around , giving full view of a side arm at my side. I'd rather pay a ticket than be a body found discarded...please , please have a care with yourself and Don't look like an easy victim....

I fish alone usually always. I don't wait for a buddy...am fully capable of taking care if any situation that might arise. Man or critter. Not scared but certainly have to aware these days. I refuse to appear a weak victim !!!! Even if I do carry a pistol in my tackle bag....lol..... Fish on , my kindred sisters ....why let the guys have all the fun ??? Baitcast or spin reel, we can do it too !!
