Hey J nice eyes ! I have been using an electric knife for years on all kinds of fish. Even crappie, much quicker! Did the video show the zip method for the spine bones.? Very slick!
Yes folks the electric knife sure does make it easy!! Been using one since the seventies for small & large fish!! Also use a good fillet knife to do the zipper method on larger fish like walleye! Very seldom if ever see a bone!! My wife hates to deal with fish bones!!
Going to be down that way beginning of april! What bait or lures are you using? Are spade fish hitting that time of the year? I have been to buckroe beach & seen that pier& was thinking of fishing it when I am down there in april. I would appreciate any info or tips about fishing there! Thanks!
Find the tree stumps & u will find fish! Drift using floating jig heads & crawlers or minnows. If anchored try perch spreaders with small pieces of crawlers or minnows with appropiate weight to be straight up & down right off bottom! When u start catching perch or crappie the walleye will be there soon! Also, try drifting the structure out in front of ohio side campgrounds & ramp & the island!! Also try trolling or casting & retrieving # 11 repallas in shallow areas near there!! Tight lines!!
