Had the first crappie dinner last night from the Bald Eagle trip. Absolutely delicious!!! One bagged portion was just enough to feed my whole family.

When I lived in Georgia we always served hush puppies at our fish fry😎.

They are one of my favorites as well. Not many places around me the have them like Vsld Eagle did. School after school caught 100’s a very little by catch. One gill, a few perch, one SM and one LM

Yes folks the electric knife sure does make it easy!! Been using one since the seventies for small & large fish!! Also use a good fillet knife to do the zipper method on larger fish like walleye! Very seldom if ever see a bone!! My wife hates to deal with fish bones!!
