I love triline florocarbon never have any problems and I fish with 12 to 15 lb floro for largemouth bass it’s never too expensive I pay like 7.99 to 9.99 for 300 yards you don’t need to buy that super expensive floro it’s not like we’re fishing professional tournaments

It depends is your boat cover made to fit your bass boat in other words does it snap on or do you have to strap it down all over if it’s designed for your boat I would leave it on till I got to the boat ramp where you are gonna fish especially if you don’t have everything completely locked down and secure you don’t want anything flying out your boat and damaging a vehicle that’s behind you it will ruin your whole trip if it’s more like a tarp where you have to strap it down every where your better off leaving that type at home and make sure if you have rods either inside your truck or in your boat where there’s rod storage and totally locked down one time after a long day fishing I was feeling a little lazy and left my rods on deck just pulled straps over them while stopped at red light this loser crossing crossed behind me and tried jacking my rods if I didn’t have the tie down straps on he could of been gone my average rod reel set up is approx $200 to $400 bucks so there’s lots to worry about when trailering your boat but you’ll learn the ropes quick I assure you that don’t forget to put your boat plug in

So, I'm pretty new to fishing and just bought a St Croix Mojo bass casting rod (7'1" medium-heavy/fast) and I have no idea what kind of reel to put on it.

Any advice? Budget is 150

--Wow really nice rod for being new to fishing someone must be giving you advice you just bought one of the top rods on market closest thing you can get to customize Lowe’s makes really nice reliable user friendly bait casting reels to match your rod I would suggest looking for a reel between $150 and $250 bucks you’ll be extremely happy
