Beware of the Asian Carp infestation!
They have absolutely taken over Reelfoot. I duck hunt there in the fall. Be particularly aware while under power. The vibration causes them to jump. Two friends have been hit by flying carp. Doesn’t sound like a big deal unless it’s 10-20 pounder. Enjoy but watch out!

I’m in Gulf Shores for two weeks of surf fishing. Anyone catching anything?

Thinking about a small inflatable boat and outboard or trolling motor for launching off the beach. I’m thinking a four man boat for two people would work. It would deflate and store easily when not in use. I don’t have room for a real boat and marinas in GS seemed to be packed after Sally. Good idea or bite the bullet and buy a boat and pay for storage?

I’m a new guy! Just letting you know I caught three nice Pompano that went in the oven and a few Whiting that were too small to clean this week in GS.
