We sure can help , just give a general area as our other followers have said. And also are you after freshwater or salty fish ? There are many reservoirs in the Northern parts of Jersey. Some shallow lakes in central. And a lot of salt in South Jersey your choice just put us in a direction would be glad to help.

Has anyone used marine mat on there bass boat yet ? Took all old carpet out and cleaned it up, a lot of elbow grease and time. I was told to clean it really good in order for the 3M to stick well. Just seeing if any of my fishing friends have ever done this ? Also had some trim work powder coated, going with the gray and red marine mat. Will send pics of finished job.

That my fishing is a Helgimite, excellent bait for smallmouth bass and large also good on trout. Minnow traps and light netting sent deep into lakes and streams trap them. Like muddy bottoms and some rock piles in clear water. Hope it helps Fish on.

Sorry Mr. Brooklyn their are no brown bears in the Catskills or in NY state. But I am sure it was a sight to see when that black bear ran out into the stream. Be alert out there this coming spring when they all wake up. Enjoyed the story I would of had the go change my waiters and pants Lol 😂.

You could try a smaller weight and hook size of shroon heads and ,keep a high tip as it flows over the rocks. Or only let the hook bend come out of the ned bait just a little. Works on trout up North here well.

You may want try going to a braided line unless you have changed already with a small length of fluorocarbon line. My catch ratio went way up when I changed over. North Jersey and southern N.Y. state is in smallie fest now the line change helps you feel the tiny pecks of the smallmouth bass. Hope it helps be safe and fish on folks.

Yes there is the float it worm and craw chunk the company is called floatit worms. Check them out had great success on both like cutting down the worm for Ned rigging and full size for c-rigging.

You should give the Gennesee River a try had good luck their years ago. Just across from Rochester University hair jigs black with a black/ red craw chunk smallmouth fest all from the shore line no boat.

Bass elite just finished up there this week . Lee Levisy just caught over 100 pounds of bass on championship Sunday he caught 40+ pounds on top water lures in open water. Enjoy your trip also bring some chatterbaits. Yes they are up on beds and still moving in.

You may want to check your law book on trout fishing N.J. I know the season is closed until 8:00am Saturday 4-10-21 morning. They looks like a pretty nice fine if caught. It’s catch and realease until then. The big one looks like a holdover golden trout. I never heard of a palomino trout, horse maybe. Sorry for the bad news Pal.
