I live in Leesburg too. Have always preferred salt fishing and the boat is in Jax, hence most of my fishing is up there. Good luck here in Lake. I have always heard we are famous for Bass.

Thank you. The tips are always welcome. I have been using live shrimp as bait. Also trying to pay attention to tides and barometric pressure and water temp for optimal returns.

We keep Hothands2 on the boat. Put 1 in each pocket. They stay warm up to 10 hours.

I've been fishing up that way, in the channels that lead up to the Plantation. Mostly been hitting speckled trout and weak fish lately. Maybe the water's too cold? Thank you for the tips.

Just a girl that likes to fish. Trying to get better at it and hoping to learn from the pros. Most of my fishing is done near Jacksonville, FL in the St. Johns River. I enjoy casting and reeling, but would like to get some redfish I can keep.
