My brotherlaw was bank fishing for catfish and gaspergo(white drum fresh water), he saw a group of young people kayaking none were not wearing life jackets, sometimes we think there's no danger,but the law is law. Welcome,can't help you on hot spots in that area, I'm on the so call other side,there's a big chunk on land between us. On the other hand fish feed the same,water temperature ,vegatation,structure,tides water depth,and food source. Roll the dice and it doesn't mean where all the boats are anchored is the best place or on the beach where all the rod holders are.I'm old school (cheap)what's a fish finder watch the birds.Everything is a cycle for fish as it is for us. Want to find where we go to get our food (grocery store) lots of people there. Fish, some are in the shallows feeding on smaller bait and shrimp etc..Good luck,I believe the next we hear from you that you had to go home because you filled your stringer.🐟🐟

I've had a fly fishing rig set up 10 plus years hanging above the bed across the window shade rods eight ahalf Tomohawk rod with GLooms venture fly reel decked out White river fishing vest hangs in the closet(I think I out grew it before I got to use it, but its paid for). Fisherman have great lives and lots of almost true stories. Ya'll have a good new year
