I was on the Petaluma River at Black Point fishing off the dock on Tuesday and Thursday. Caught 3 smallsTue. and 2 smalls Thurs. 12" to 16" strippers. Lots of action on Thurs. Tuesday was my first time strippre fishing. Can't wait until the spring.

I live in Santa Rosa. I don't have a boat so trolling is not an option. I fish from shore or from a dock. I plan on going to Black Point on Tuesday, to the fishing dock. Any advice on bait at the mouth of the Petaluma River would be appreciated.
